Glow Handle is designed as a local-first identity and protected-message utility. The app does not require account registration, does not provide cloud sync, does not operate a server account system, and does not upload your random seed, contacts, messages, notes, or selected files to a developer server.
Your random seeds are stored in the iOS Keychain. Account labels, keywords, language preference, lock state, contact cards, note names, and daily free-use counters are stored locally on your device. Pro purchase entitlement is read from App Store purchase records through StoreKit.
Camera access is used only when you choose to scan an idp1 contact-card QR code. The app does not record video or upload camera frames. File access is used only for files you explicitly choose for sealing, opening, exporting, or saving. The app does not scan your file library in the background.
Glow Handle does not include advertising tracking, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking. It does not sell personal data.
Protected messages and sealed notes/files are generated locally on device. Anyone who obtains your random seed may control that ID and open content sealed for that account, so you should keep the seed private and backed up somewhere you trust.
